"IoT Smart plant monitoring system"

Plant plays a vital role in maintaining the ecological cycle and forms the foundation of a food chain pyramid and thus to maintain the plant’s proper growth and health adequate monitoring is required. Hence the aim at making plant monitoring system smart is using automation and Internet of Things (IOT) technology. In this project an ESP 8266 NODEMCU is used which provide the communication between the sensors and our mobile using Blynk IoT application. This project continuously monitor the Temperature, Humidity , Soil moisture of the of the plant's environment, and it display the realtime sensor reading on the the display. The sensor reading can also be monitored on the mobile from any where of the world. We can also control the watering system of the plants through the mobile or by manually. This system also has a motion detection sensor that is used to detect the motion. Whenever a motion is detected an alert is given on the mobile.
Thus by this project we can monitor the plants and control the watering system from anywhere of the world, which makes the irrigation system easier and save the time.
