"IOT Based Fault Detection In Agriculture System"

Smart agriculture leverages IoT technologies to optimize farming practices by enabling automation and real-time monitoring. This paper proposes a Smart Agriculture System that integrates ESP8266, IoT, and Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) to enhance agricultural productivity and sustainability.
The system is designed to monitor environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, and soil moisture, while also providing the capability to control a water pump remotely via a mobile application. These features allow farmers to efficiently manage irrigation schedules, reducing water wastage and improving crop yields.
In addition to environmental monitoring, the system incorporates a laser-based security mechanism to safeguard crops from animals or intruders. The laser and LDR system detects any breach in the perimeter, activating an electrical fencing system to deter threats. Farmers can remotely activate or deactivate the laser system using the mobile app, adding an additional layer of control and security to their fields.
The integration of the ESP8266 microcontroller enables seamless communication between sensors, actuators, and the farmer's smartphone through Wi-Fi. Real-time notifications and alerts are sent to the farmer, ensuring timely intervention in case of anomalies or security threats.
The proposed system is energy-efficient and cost-effective, making it suitable for deployment in both resource-constrained and geographically remote areas. By addressing challenges such as water management, crop security, and real-time monitoring, the Smart Agriculture System provides a holistic solution for modern farming needs.
