'Automated Car Parking System'



The Automated Car Parking System is an intelligent solution designed to manage vehicle parking efficiently in real-time. The system is built using an Arduino microcontroller, IR sensors, an LCD display, and a servo motor. It automates the process of monitoring parking slot occupancy and controlling vehicle entry/exit barriers, thereby reducing human effort and enhancing convenience.
The system utilizes IR sensors to detect the presence of vehicles in individual parking slots and at entry/exit points. The Arduino processes the sensor data and updates the status of parking slots on a 16x2 LCD display. When a vehicle approaches the entry point, the system checks for available slots. If slots are available, the servo motor lifts the barrier to allow entry, and the LCD display updates the available slots count. If the parking area is full, the system denies access and displays a "Parking Full" message.
This project offers a cost-effective and scalable solution for parking management in small-scale facilities such as offices, residential complexes, and shopping malls. It reduces manual intervention, optimizes space usage, and ensures a smooth parking experience for users.
